Buwakan ni Alejandra

The flower garden covers an area of 3,000 square meters and expansion is still ongoing. There are over 200 varieties of local plants found in the garden and there will be more in the future. Different kinds of fascinating flowers with vibrant colors embellish the garden and that is what makes it attractive. Among the flowers that can be found in the garden are roses, dahlias, wax begonias, hibiscus,sages, and cleome or spider flowers.  

The garden is open everyday from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm. A minimal fee of Php75.00 for adults and Php50.00 for children below 10 years old and PHp50.00 for senior citizen and PWD, children 5 below are free.

The name “Buwakan ni Alejandra” (Alejandra’s Flower Garden) was derived from the Visayan word “buwakan” which means “flower garden” and "Alejandra" is the mother of the owners. The name was given in honor of Alejandra’s love for flowers.

Buwakan ni Alejandra is located at 33 km from the city. This charismatic garden is a magnet for tourists who are willing to travel long distances to see its beauty. Buwakan Ni Alejandra Alejandra's Flower Garden is derived from Buwakan, a Visayan term that means "flower garden" and Alejandra the mother of its owners. Alejandra's passion for flowers inspired the name. It covers a total of 3000 square meters.

Expansion is ongoing. The garden contains over 200 local varieties and will continue to grow. The garden is filled with fascinating and vibrant flowers of all kinds. That's what makes it so attractive.

The garden contains roses and wax begonias as well as hibiscus and spider flowers. Open daily from 7 00 a.m. to 6 00 p.m. There is a minimal charge of Php75.00 per adult and Php50.00 per child below 10, and for seniors and PWD children five and under, respectively.
