About Cebu Taoist Temple

Cebu Taoist Temple simplified Chinese Traditional Chinese is a Taoist Temple located in Beverly Hills Subdivision, Cebu City. Cebu's large Filipino Chinese community built the temple. The temple rises to a height of metre-high above the sea and is accessible via three distinct winding roads. .

The Taoist Temple is not like the nearby Phu Sian Temple. It's open to both worshippers and non-worshippers. One ritual that is common among devotees involves praying to the gods for a specific wish. This involves washing your hands and then dropping two wood blocks into the chapel.

One can make a wish if the blocks of wood are facing up. It is possible to make a wish if the wood blocks are facing up. If so, one must come back to the temple another time. .

This temple houses Taoism's center of worship. It follows the teachings and practices of Lao Zi, an ancient Chinese philosopher. A ritual that is popular among Taoist devotees is to climb its steps, representing chapters of Taoism Scriptures. They light joss sticks, and then have their fortunes read by monks.

Although I did not take any pictures of the inside, the view is amazing. It was quiet when I arrived early in the morning. The place was peaceful and serene. The tallest building was the highest. I went up and kneeled three times before placing the stick. I also dropped a coin into the fountain. It didn't land in the vase. It was between 86 and 85 ... see more

Very nice photos in private neighborhoods. It is not allowed to photograph inside the temple, Saints or masks. The views are spectacular and it is worth the visit.

) Everyone said it was a Chinese temple. It s a Taoist temple, not a Buddhist one. The stairs are steep and you will climb unexpectedly, so please be careful if you have weak legs. (

This mountain is to Jiuchongtian Taoist Sanqing and Sanbao Buddha's ancestor. It's not appropriate for those who don’t change their ways.
