There is a place up north, far from the monstrous traffic in Cebu City, that offers the best site for selfies and pre-nuptial pictorials.

It is a flower farm in Sirao, a mountain barangay of Cebu City, about 17 kilometers uphill from JY Square in Lahug.

Up there, one becomes a tourist ready to cup a coxcomb or peep through the multi-colored celosia and stage selfies worthy of Facebook (FB) and Instagram (IG) likes.

2 18 23 Interesting. We were blessed with scattered rain showers so it was difficult to do too much. The queues for taking pictures were short because there weren't many people here when we visited. People take a lot of time to get their photos. There isn't much else to do, other than taking photos.


This is a beautiful place high up in the mountains. It is a great place to capture special photos for your social media accounts.


It's not a terrible place. Worth a visit at minimum once.


Beautiful nature in the mountains of Cebu. A bit a adventures road to get there and some kitsch Amsterdam stuff but worth a visit.

The original signboard was fake and one palm was the first. Here are the two palms. I had already purchased a ticket, but knew that it was fake. I went back to the original shop near the entrance and took another picture. It s beautiful here and I am happy with how few people there.


If you are ever in Cebu, this is a beautiful place to visit

It is charming and colourful. However, some steps need to be maintained because they are slippery.


Sirao is another top of Cebu flower garden with a Little Amsterdam theme and there are plenty of Instagram picture opportunities with a seemingly profound Cebu mountain backdrop    I was thinking the place looked a little run down and needed repairs and fresh paint    It is low on flowers  but they try amnd make up for it by using plants that have leaf colors other than green The best shot  I think is from the  hands  structure which is positioned in an over arching view of the mountain landscape  But you need someone to take the shot of you to make it look good You can spend about an hour or less here depending on the crowd  There wasn t anyone here really when we visited on a weekday

One could easily consider this a tourist trap  but the entrance fee is somewhat inexpensive  PHP 60  person  and the mountainous views    despite the cheesy Little Amsterdam setting    could be considered quite vast  We got here by negotiating a chartered fare with a taxi driver  There are other stops along the way  e g  Tops and Temple of Leah   so you should probably hit up those spots too and agree beforehand how long you d like to stay at each destination  Sirao is otherwise quite far from Cebu City proper   40 mins  and the single lane road to get there is steep and windy  although well maintained enough  Your other option could be a tourist van if you have a big enough party  Otherwise  buses and Grabs don t operate this far away  and I wouldn t trust a habal habal  they re illegal and expensive   Sirao is a flower garden with a Little Amsterdam theme and there are plenty of  IG worthy  picture opportunities with a seemingly profound Cebu mountain backdrop  The most iconic shot is from the  hands  structure which is positioned in an over arching view of the mountain landscape  However  you won t get the best shot unless you have a camera with a telephoto lens and take it from a far and or have a drone  There are various cheesy structures scattered throughout and some flowers as well  You ll notice that you won t see all of the structures and flowers because there are TWO sides with different entrances and an entry fee at each  Other fees to tack on is a P20 parking fee  which our taxi driver was forced to pay at some point  We agreed to spend 30 minutes at the one side of the gardens that we explored  the one furthest up the road   but did feel a little rushed  so I would spend 45mins to 1 hour here depending on the crowd  There wasn t anyone here really when we visited on a weekday  but then again  this was during the CoViD 19 crisis when tourism was at an ultimate low 

This was absolutely the best place to visit if you re into flowers  view and love taking some great pictures  Its very unique    It s best to come with a guide as this is far from the city  There is a small entrance fee for this place  There is a small gift shop and food vendor inside as well    If you re still hungry  there are   many food stands in front  The place is very popular so the parking places are full I loved everything there as every part of this place you can take great photos of your group or solo photos  I saw people taking professional photos I guess for their engagement pics    I loved the treehouses called bahay kubo  The view of the hand with the mounts background was epic  This is a must place to visit when in   Cebu  Hope you will like it too as I had so much fun taking pictures  Check out my pics   15 100 

Nice view of some beautiful flowers  Very colorful place to visit  Very relaxing and very simple but definitely a place to stop by if you re ever in Cebu  They re currently in the middle of some construction because they re expanding  but that s not gonna stop you from being able to walk around and view some very beautiful flowers  Lots of nice spots to take pictures here  if you re into that kinda stuff 

Beautiful place but i am giving it a two stars due to the fact that my husband and 3yrs old son nearly had a big accident when we visited the park  It had been raining lightly so obviously we were prepared  But that lookout where there are steps nearly cost their lives  as they were walking down the steps  not even halfway did my husband slipped on the top steps with my son cus it was slippery  Told the ladies at the souvenir store and they didn t care  They looked at me and my husband like we were a hindrance and a liar  We had our driver  who was with us and saw what happened and other visitors too  and he explained to them that they could have managed the property better by putting up  caution  signs around  The whole place was muddy and slippery and everyone was trying not to fall than enjoying the scenery  Wouldn t really recommend this as a kid friendly place IF its raining since the grounds are muddy 

Review  042   2019This was one of the few places that I had bookmarked for my trip to Cebu I specifically requested that my tour guide bring us here since I wanted see if it s really as nice in person The drive up was pretty rough   windy It felt like a long drive up  but it actually wasn t too bad on our drive back down Unfortunately  when we arrived  I wasn t as impressed as I had expected Being that it was compared to Amsterdam made me set my expectation much higher    When we showed up  it was a pretty small flower garden with lots of instagram y decorations We spent roughly half an hour there  but the majority of the time was spent waiting for people to finish taking their pictures    I could probably walk through the whole garden in less than 10 minutes 

Nice place to explore a couple hours from the city  The garden is beautiful and you can see nature  Nice Place for a   shoot  Love this little piece of paradise

Great place to get Instagram photos    They keep adding more stuff to it    There are two separate Sirao Gardens and each have their own entrance fee    Other than that it s a great place to take photos 

Not a good place for seniors or people with disabilities  Very steep paths  It s like walking into a child s Valentines Day card  If that s your thing  ok fine  For me it was cloying  I couldn t detect whether the owners had any interest or knowledge about plants and flowers  There are hardly more than a dozen kinds of flowers  which is what we came to see  Very few of the flowers were interesting  marigolds and sunflowers are pretty but not hard to find  It seems more like a way to part tourists and sappy romantics from their money  The entrance stairway path is lined with Valentine hearts which say things like  You stole my heart but you can keep it   There are plaster statues of gnomes and small children  There is a field of plastic tulips in a variety of colors not found in nature but which might be found on Easter Egg candy shells  There is a small Dutch windmill  less like the Netherlands  more like a miniature golf course  painted in bright rainbow  Maybe it also had a shooting star There are nuptial huts  which to me sound like places to have sex  Like the nuptial rooms at prisons  And a Proposal Gazebo I guess for people to become  engaged in a cage   There is a fake English Tea Shoppe with moldy stuffed animals and those cheap souvenir tea cups and spoons sold in tourist shops around the world  And even all this might have been acceptable or interesting had it been done well  It s not artistic  nor smart  nor well thought  I recommend only for those who mistake bright flowers and hearts for real emotion 

beautiful mountain views for photo ops  pro is you only have to pay 50 pesos each person and outside the place itself are a lot of small stores you can buy snacks and small souvenirs like magnets etc  Con is the travel time  The place is on top of a mountain near top lookout and temple of leah so if you are planning to go there then its a good stopover  But if not  would not reccommend just to go there only as the place is small and is still under construction
